I have recently moved to HK from the UK and hope that this might be the place to get some advice.
I am staying at a serviced apartment on Blue Pool Road in Happy Valley at the moment and am starting to feel that I would like to rent myself an apartment there full-time.
1)Can anyone recommend a decent estate agent in the area.
2) Or are there expats I can contact directly who are renting an apartment.
I also need to register with a Doctor and dentist-any thoughts?
I am a big tennis fan/player and would like to know which is the best club to join that a) has good tennis facilities and b) has a team(s) that compete with other clubs.
I have been surprised to learn that tennis is not a "bigger" sport here?
That's it for now, but I am sure I will think of more as I settle into this great City.
Thanks
Chris

For rentals you can pretty much go to any neighbourhood real estate agent and they can show you flats. Another easier option is to go through internet - my favourites are www.hongkonghomes.com and www.habitat-property.com. Tennis clubs - most are private and you have to join. The HK Football Club will allow new members if they are good enough to play for their team. There are also residents associations that play each other (eg Kowloon Tong Residents Association, South Horizons Residents Association, etc.).
Tennis is not big because it is played outside where it is hot and humid and because there are few facilities. That is why people play more badminton and table tennis.
