What he probably means is the one thing every investor should do DYOR-- Do Your Own Reading/Research.


There are paid rampers and derampers, day traders who would try to "manipulate" the market so after DYOR, think whether you want to be a trader or an investor.


I've learned a lot from reading finance forums like Interactive Investors etc.
