Hi, I wnat to start trading options but am unsure how to finda broker in Hong Kong. In Australia I do online. Can anyone recommend one for me. HSBC want $300 000K to set up an account. Im not into trading of thsi size, I want to start out much smaller .

hi Baligirl! just saw ur post now, if its honkong brokers l am not sure, but for US brokers, IB are about the best value, interactivebrokers.com l use them , but trade in ungodly hours since USA is 12hours behind, ET anyway!
you can trade HK listed options with interactivebrokers.
I have a trading account with HSBC with much less that what you said they asked for. I also do a bit of ForEx with them.
I also trade on LSE with my HSBC (UK) account and only started with GBP10k and heavily exposed on oil and coal mining companies. I have to say though LLoyds and RBS almost doubled my initial investment.
