Are you still thinking of moving there or already there? I am a local and have been living close to the Olympic MTR for 5 yrs, a quiet and peaceful place, shopping, traffic and everything are very convenient. I like the area very much especially the Olympic Plaza. You are welcome to join the neigborhood.

Hi,
Do you mean Park Island? We also are thinking about Park Island. Do you live there now? Are you happy with the transportation. Transportation is our biggest concern as my husband is on call and works at the airport. Your comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
I understand that there will soon be a direct bus link to the airport . Ferry to Central is about 25 minutes and costs only HKD11. There are also round the clock shuttle bus to and from Kawi Fong and Tsing Yi. Ferry service to Tsuen Wan is also available. Once I find out about the starting date for the airport services, I'll send you a note.
Cheers!

Thanks. Are you enjoying PI? We liked the look and feel of the place, how are you finding it? Cheers.

PI is a great clean place and very spacious. One thing has attracted my atention is the frienliess of the complex attendants ..always greeting you with a smile... There is also a Park n Shop within the complex, so food shopping is very convenient. The complex also houses 2 nice gym and club facilities...another club is being built right now. There are a few restaurants as well. Great landscape and nice view of the Tsing Ma bridge at night time. However, you would notice noises from planes flying every now and then near the island and if noise is an issue, you may not enjoy it...but you get used to it. Hope the above helps.

Anyone got the website for Park Island so we can look at properties please.
Also what sort of eating drinking places exist? can you get a beer if you don't fancy leaving the area?

We are moving to PI in 2 weeks - end of March - can let you know after that. I think there are a couple of restaurants and there also are 2 very nice bbq areas that I hope you can take wine/beer to. I don't know about a web-site, we found our apartment on this web-site under the property section.
