Hi, I'm moving to HK in a month, and am wondering about the serviced apartment scene.
I've heard expats take this route, but I've lived in unfurnished apartments, which I love because you can make it your home.
And I've read about the size of the places in HK, is that the same with serviced apartmnts?

The advantage of a serviced apt is you can sign one to month vs committing to a year or two lease... also you dont have to buy furniture, deal with utilities or hire a helper as most provide...
Also... if you are not sure where you want to live in HK you can spend a month or two in a serviced apartment while deciding...

It makes sense to stay in one for a month then head out, and I'm sure that a permanent apartment is much cheaper monthly than a serviced one, so am going to save that for that first month's rent!
There seems to be a bunch in SOHO and near LKF, and I know its convenient around there, but if I stay around a place called Sheung Wan, is that close to SOHO and LKF? Google maps can only give me so much info...
