I've just moved to Hong Kong and am looking for somewhere to live. Just wondering which is the best area. My budget is up to about 7,000. I'm here with my boyfriend, we're in our late 20's no kids. Want somewhere outside the city but not too far from Kowloon and Quarry Bay (where I'll be working). But it would be nice if it had some shops bars etc but not too hectic.

Think about Park Island in Ma Wan, it's nice and geogous. It's 20 mins to Central by ferry, and 15 mins to Tsing Yi, you should like it. I think the rent is roughly 7500 an apartment
