Qualified teacher

I am looking for information on teaching in an international school in Hong Kong. Basically, where to look for a job and what kind of experience is required?

I have my teaching degree and experience as a middle school teacher in NZ as well as being registered in NZ.

Also my husband would be coming too. He is not a teacher. What kind of work is avaliable for an English only speaking account manager? Experience in logistics (airfreight) for both freight forwarder and airline.

Thanks

Hi

there are some very good contracts but it is very compettitive. Look at the English Schools Foundation website. They recruit around December and interview in January time each year. It is too late now. If you got a 2 year contract with them your husband would be able to come and work here on a dependent visa. They will give you an accommdation allowance and a little help in finding somewhere initially. They will fly you here and put you in a hotel for about 2 weeks for your first contact, after that you pay your own flights. They pay well and offer a bonus payment at the end of each 2 year contract. Hong Kong is expensive.

There are other international schools with different terms and conditions.
