Hello folks, am new here as well as being new in Hong Kong ,, ( very recently arrived)

I would really appreciate any help/ advice towards getting work in Hong Kong ...

I am a fully qualified plumber/ central heating engineer to NVQ LEVEL 3...

I am looking to get started working as quickly as possible but need advice on where I should or could go to be able to get work permit, companies that employ expats and any other information that any of you good people consider to be relevant towards me getting started the right way,, am in Hong Kong already, and wish to remain here now... I have 3 months of stay already but believe I may be able to apply for extension of stay ( how ) ??? I did have my own small business in UK specialising in emergencies and have only ever had positive feedback from my many returning satisfied customers,, I also done lots of work on behalf of Thames water in London and some of the big insurance companies there too,, I have also done a lot of boiler servicing and gas safety for many of my customers and also for British gas too,,

Am very keen to get started as soon as possible so any helpful advice would be very much appreciated,,,

Ps,, I have also got a lot of experience in painting and decorating to a very high standard, tiling , carpentry, some electrical work and most domestic building trades which I had done for many years before I returned to college to put myself through college,, have had a lot of years experience working as a multi-skilled tradesman but mainly wish to concentrate on plumbing,, although I will consider any of the above that I have mentioned,,, am looking forward to having many years in Hong Kong so will take every bit of help or good sound advice that anyone is willing to offer,,

I look forward to hearing from someone soon

Regards

Neville
