Finding NGO/Advocacy Posistions

Hi all,

I am planning to relocate to Hong Kong at the end of the year as my partner has received an offer he can’t turn down. I would like to continue my career after the move but I’m not quite sure how best to approach the job search – what experiences have folks had with looking for non-profit/NGO/admin jobs in and around Hong Kong? I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Community Organizing, Planning, and Development and 3 years of experience in a position centered on events planning, communication, research, and U.S. political advocacy. I do not have experience with Chinese language but I am absolutely willing to learn.

I know that I likely could get a certification and teach English but I am afraid this will be a marked diversion from my career path.
