One of the hardest aspects in applying for a job, I find, is suggesting my expected salary.
What ar reasonable salaries for a person seeking a position as a guest relations manager for a serviced appartments complex, or a senior relocation consultant? -both are positions I feel I could fill very nicely but I'm a little scared of selling myself short or worse, being excluded from the interview process due to seeming to demand too much pay!
Advice appreciated!

I hate those questions about expected salary, too!!
I usually leave it blank and when they interview me, I say... well, offer me what you think I'm worth and we can negotiate from there.
Perhaps you could search online as well, to see what companies are offering for those positions?

I agree with Slammy, it is unreasonable and, I believe, pretensions, for an employer to ask you to give them a number.
On applications or resumes I normally respond with 'open' or 'negotiable'.
There are too many factors to consider, especially without knowing the job, company, and such.
If the environment if friendly and positive I might be willing to work for less, but if it is full of slackers and micromanaging bosses I would require much more.
Good luck.
