My existing flatmate has to leave Hong Kong soon. I am now looking for a new flatmate with aligned goals in home living to enjoy the perks and experience of co-living in the city.
1. A bit about myself
Daytime working professional, sociable, postgrad-educated with a love for local culture, classical music and outdoor adventures.
2. Description of your room (Available from early December onwards)
This is a bright bedroom for one single tenant in a 2-bedroom apartment.
There are windows on both walls, uplifting the atmosphere of your room.
An overhead clothes rod is installed as shown in photo 2.
You are welcomed to place a wardobe in the living room in order to free up some space.
3. Description of the apartment
The Building:
The building is situated in a very convenient location: 6-min walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR Station & 9-min walk to Mong Kok MTR Station. With lots of large and small eateries, supermarkets, home goods stores, small parks, and shopping malls.
The lobby is manned by security guards. Lifts can be taken from the ground floor to our floor (no staircases involved).
The Apartment:
There is 1 existing flatmate (myself) living in the apartment.
Bathroom, kitchen and living room are shared among us.
Living room:
There is a panel of windows across the wall in living room, again filling the apartment with natural light.
It is equipped with a newly installed Toshiba fridge-freezer (energy efficient, grade 1 energy label), table and chair.
Kitchen:
Kitchen is equipped with cabinets (ample storage), induction cooktop, sink with fast-flowing tap, and a newly installed Samsung washing machine (energy efficient, grade 1 energy label).
Bathroom:
Bathroom is equipped with electric heater with great insulation (no pre-heating needed, immediately enjoy hot water after switching on), sink with fast-flowing tap and fast-flowing toilet.

Photo 2: How the room looks without curtains (Old photo). Showing the overhead clothes rod.
Photo 3: How the room looks with curtains (Current photo). Showing plenty of space to add in additional cabinet and book shelves even after installing the single bed and the desk (120cm x 60cm). Note: The room is much longer than the standard bed - footboard of the bed does not touch the wall at all - enough space to add additional furniture for storage.

5. Basic requirement for prospective flatmate
Home is our sanctuary where we unwind, have a good rest and probably nourish ourselves.
I am therefore looking for a flatmate with aligned goals in home living.
Your flatmate (myself) always cleans after herself leaving shared spaces as clean as how she finds it, ensures a quiet living environment in the evenings (e.g. would not play loud music nor slam doors), keep home appliances and facilities in good conditions (e.g. would not block pipes) and actively participates in weekly housework and any home maintenance/repair.
Your reciprocity in the above mutually beneficial behaviour is the basic Requirement.
Failure to reciprocate would be grounds to terminate the living arrangement with 1-month notice.
** Please note that the landlord does not allow any pets. **
