Why a Co-Working Space over a Standard Office Space?
With a standard office space in Hong Kong, you will be expected to commit to a long-term (2 to 3 years) lease. You will also need to pay to decorate and furnish the office as well as handle the purchase and installation of all telecommunications equipment.
With a co-working space, you are paying for the flexibility with lease terms as short as one month. If you need to add or reduce your number of desks that can easily be done whereas with a standard office, you are obviously restricted by the size of the office.
Co-working spaces are also turn-key solutions in that desks and telecommunications are already in place, so you just move in and start working. Another benefit of co-working office space is that you are surrounded by other entrepreneurs which can inspire you as well as provide you with immediate contacts in Hong Kong.
