At 3pm traffic along Peddar St and Des Voeux Road was halted up as a small group of protesters gathered at the intersection in front of Citibank and threw traffic pylons onto the road.

Students indicated that there will be mass protests later this evening throughout Hong Kong.

Two police officers arrived at around 315 and were able to disperse the protesters.
